What the guarantor does
The seller's coins go to the guarantor before the payment and stay locked until the seller confirms receiving the money. If the parties cannot agree, a moderator decides based on the receipts and the chat.
Fake receipt
The most common scheme: the buyer sends an edited screenshot of a transfer. The protection is simple — confirm the payment only after you see the money in your banking app.
Payment from someone else's card
A scammer may pay with someone else's money, and later the card owner will demand it back. Check that the sender's name matches the buyer, and open a dispute if the payment came from a third party.
Deals outside the platform
A request to move to private messages, pay “directly” or make a transfer “for verification” is a red flag. Outside the deal, the guarantor cannot protect you.
If something goes wrong
Do not confirm the deal and do not send money again. Open a dispute right in the deal and attach the receipts — a moderator will sort it out. Never share your PIN code or SMS codes with anyone.
